Villard Reculas is mountain village that has remained authentic maintaining wooden architecture and stone away from large blocks of flats of some large stations.
To access Villard Reculas two feasible routes. A wide and easy road from Allemont, the village down valley. Or a second, more unusual, the road No Confession. Very narrow road from the village of Huez but offering great views of the mountains and the Oisans Valley.
For skiing, Villard Reculas is connected to Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski by a chairlift and a possible return by a track. The advantage is to benefit from a large ski area while staying in a beautiful and authentic village.
